When you next visit Kingston SE, make some time to visit our unique wineries in the Mount Benson wine region. Mount Benson is known for its rich loam-based terra rossa soil sitting on top of a limestone base and is one of six wine regions on the Limestone Coast. The moderate climate in Mount Benson makes it an ideal location for vineyards. The maritime air has provided the environment creating Mount Benson’s distinct delicate flavours born of a cooler seaside climate.

Mount Benson produces red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Petit Verdot to white wine varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. It is situated between Kingston and Robe with several cellar doors and distinctly different wineries, making a wine tour of the region an enjoyably diverse one.

Cape Jaffa Wines
