The Annual Lions Surf Fishing Competition – 23 and 24 January 2021

The very popular 42^nd Annual Surf Fishing Competition in Kingston is on again this year and registrations start January 1^st. The competition occurs along 87 kms of coast from Kingston to the Coorong with a prize pool of $25,000.

Prize catches include mulloway, sharks, stingrays, flathead, mullet and tommy roughs.

Sunset Sessions with Adam Brand at the Crown Inn Kingston – Friday 8 January 2021

A free family-friendly event from 5pm onwards at the Crown Inn Kingston SE Carpark with food & market stalls, acoustic tunes from Adam Brand and supporting artists Lyndsay Storer and James Herberte. This event celebrates the official opening of the first Augmented Reality Mural in South Australia which is an Australian Government Bushfire Recovery initiative and proudly supported by the Kingston District Council.

Due to COVID restrictions, even though the event is free, only people who have registered will be allowed entry. Register here.

Cape Jaffa Wines – live music and food trucks every weekend

Cape Jaffa Wines which is a 15 minute drive from the caravan park, has live music and food trucks every weekend between 11am and 5pm, after Christmas.
