Kingston SE Lions Club, Maria Creek Easter Duck Classic – Easter Sunday 2022

Our exciting annual Easter Duck Race which started in 2017, has more than 500 rubber ducks racing against each other. The ducks are back every year and preparing to race once again on Easter Sunday!

Maria Creek is a popular fishing and boating spot in Kingston. There will be stalls and car boot sales on the day of the race with prizes and raffles.

When: Easter Sunday, April 17, stalls/car boot sales from 9am-2pm, duck race starts at 10.30am, breakfast starts at 8am.

While you’re at the Duck Race, don’t miss the Seaside Market, Car Boot Sale and Auction

The annual Seaside Market, Car Boot Sale and Auction will also be held at Lions Park on Holland Street, Sunday April 17 from 9am, finishing around 2pm. There will be locals selling all sorts of things, food and activities for young and old.

When: Easter Sunday, April 17, stalls/car boot sales from 9am-2pm.

Easter Saturday and Sunday at Cape Jaffa Wines

This year the much loved soulful tunes of Shaun Brown will be gracing the stage while the sun sets. Every year Cape Jaffa Wines holds their annual festival on the lawns of their estate. There are delicious food trucks, local wines and beers and a great atmosphere for everyone, kids are welcome too. Bring your own chairs and blankets and enjoy a picnic with free entry.

When: Saturday 16 April, 11am-6.30pm, Sunday April 17, 17, 11am-4pm

Good Friday and Easter Sunday: Pizza and Tunes at Raidis Estate

Love pizza, music and good wine? Every year, Raidis Estate in Penola have their Pizza and Tunes events on Easter Friday and Easter Sunday. This family-friendly event will have plenty of games for the kids and adults along with delicious wood oven pizzas.

When: Friday 15 April 12pm-5pm, and Sunday 17 April 2-5pm

Where: Raidis Estate, Old Cemetery Road, Penola

Cost: $20 per pizza. Wine, Beer, Cider and soft drinks available by the glass/can
